Studies, Reports and Articles

The following research studies, reports and articles can illuminate many aspects of what “works” in various mentoring contexts. They discuss current trends and valuable nuances in providing effective mentoring services to various youth groups in diverse settings. While not all of these studies, reports and articles have been reviewed by the National Mentoring Resource Center Research Board, many are referenced in the various reviews that the Research Board conducts. We encourage practitioners to be curious consumers of mentoring research so that they can keep abreast of new trends and emerging effective practices.
